The Chama Chile Classic features a Freestyle Cross Country Ski Race which is a qualifying race for the Nordic Series, Classic Cross country Ski Races, and Snowshoe races! Enjoy a variety of events for all ages and abilities.
The race course includes part of the historic Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad and is located in the southern San Juan Mountains, north of Chama, New Mexico and southwest of Antonito, Colorado. The course includes rolling hills, aspen groves, open meadows, and forests of spruce and fir.
Registration and Bib Pickup will be available on Friday night (February 14th) at Fosters Restaurant in Chama from 5:00-7:00pm. Race bibs will also be available for pickup at the race site from 8:00-9:00am. Races start at 9am.
