Grooming Report Thurs. Dec. 31

A gorgeous day on the mountain, temps in the mid 20s and no wind. Although only an inch or two of fresh snow this week, Scott, Steve and I set out to groom and shovel. The snow in the trees is still nice and soft and we roller compacted the trail down to the west side of the lower 10k meadow. While there are a few rocks and stumps here and there and some burned off spots on the Service rd. and 10k meadow, otherwise good skiing is still to be had. We also groomed the north section of the Klaus trail which is parallel and below the Service Rd and crosses the Rocky Point trail. In the trees there the snow is holding really well. We still need a foot or so more before we can bust out the ginzu and set classic tracks, but it is still very nice up there. Enjoy and Happy New Year!
