Driving up the road , thought would be just bare ground at the top but the trails are still covered with just a few thin spots. Delicately groomed the service road to not go too deep and set classic tracks. A warm and sunny day and by midday snow was soft and smooth. Groomed down just to the upper 10k meadow again still good coverage, was just getting too soft to go further and risk degrading the snow base. In anticipation of the great blizzard to come, Scott and I put up some snow fence behind the storage container as well. With such thin coverage, we will hold off on grooming till next week after the next couple predicted storms.
