A magical day on the mountain, 5 inches or so of fresh powder on top of still a softish base. Cloudy day giving way to intermittent sun and no wind. Great crew today with Scott, Karl, Wendy and Chris. Re-groomed Service road which is in great shape with both classic and skate lanes despite some plowing Thursday by restaurant workers. Nice to see so many xc skies out having fun today. We then focused on lower trail with Scott at the Grizzly helm pulling the compactor and the shoveling crew working some of the off camber sections. A bit soft and should set up some overnight. Good for both classic and skating through lower 10k meadow and back up the N end connector. Plan to re-groom Service road Sunday and keep at during this stellar snow season we are having.
