DESCRIPTION:Be a part of a legend! The Slumberland American Birkebeiner is North America’s largest and most prestigious cross-country ski race. Skiers make their way from Cable to Hayward\, WI\, on the legendary Birkie Trail\, finishing on the snow-covered Main Street of Hayward\, WI. Enjoy a week full of racing\, live music\, food\, and ski events in the Northwoods. An estimated 40\,000 skiers & spectators will attend Birkie week festivities. Don’t miss it!

DESCRIPTION:The competitive course begins in Crested Butte behind the Crested Butte Community School. The recreational course begins in Mt. Crested Butte at the Snodgrass Trailhead. Both races circumnavigate Gothic Mountain and end on the CB Nordic trail system at the Magic Meadows Yurt.
